The walkway to the rooms is completely open, to view the inside of the pyramid.
The elevators are in the corners, and rooms are a good distance from it. (I found out from a maintenance man who was on our ride) Second of all, we were on the seventh floor.
The elevator moves on an angle, and shakes. The view was ok, but the thing that stuck out the most in experience was the upper room levels. The room was nice, not fabulous, or horrible, just nice.
